Q. We need to reinforce an area of grass for vehicle use, but which one should we use?

A. Our product selector chart should give you an idea of which product maybe suitable. Click here.

Q. We have an area of grass which is used as a regular overflow car park that gets muddy and rutted every winter. Which products are suitable to protect the grass from this damage?

A. BodPave® offers the highest reinforcement but requires a sub-base installation. If the grass is level, solid and well drained then GrassProtecta® maybe the answer. It is important to allow the grass to grow through the mesh before use.

Q. Do I need to install a geotextile under BodPave®?

A. A geotextile should be installed if a gravel surface is required as it will stop the fine material in the sub-base from rising.

Q. Do I need planning permission to install these products on my front lawn?

A. No. GrassProtecta, BodPave & TurfProtecta are all permeable paving systems and therefore are compliant with the new governmental laws regarding Sustainable Urban Drainage (SUDS)
