Boddingtons have recently launched their new porous paving system called BodPave® 85, a 100% recycled plastic permeable paving grid for reinforcing grass or gravel surfaces. Suitable for emergency vehicle and HGV access lanes, car & coach parks, driveways, aviation applications and pedestrian or disabled access paths.

 

 

BodPave®85 has been developed to offer key benefits over competitive grass or gravel paving products. The unique design of BodPave® 85 resists lateral movement due to the design of the pavers’ integral ground anchors. It allows improved traction and allows expansion & contraction through the technical design of the pavers’ cells. The open cell structure promotes optimum grass growth, root protection and surface stabilisation by allowing grass routes to cross-grow between cells, thus not limiting growth to individual cells as most other pavers do. BodPave® 85 can be filled with either a grass rootzone or gravel (or suitable angular aggregate) and allows high surface water infiltration and is suitable for source control within a SUDS profile.

 

BodPave®85 has been engineered to offer a high load bearing performance up to 400t/m², providing structural integrity and positive mechanical interlock. Manufactured from 100% recycled polyethylene in 500x500mm interlocking grids. The pavers’ cells are 50mm deep with an additional 35mm deep ground anchors (spikes).

 

BodPave® 85 is available from stock and is available in black & green as standard, and a natural colour can be manufactured for special requirements.
