Netlon Advanced Turf® system is a specially prepared sand : soil (compost) reinforced rootzone into which is blended thousands of interlocking high strength flexible plastic mesh elements for grass reinforcement applications. Once the Netlon Advanced Turf® rootzone system (Netlon ATS) has been installed and levelled, a good quality selected turf should be laid to establish grass cover. The Netlon mesh elements interlock with each other and with the grass roots from the newly laid turf forming a deep anchored root system, a very stable rootzone and creates a strong free-draining, compaction and rut resistant reinforced natural grass area.
Netlon Advanced Turf® system offers a free draining natural grass surface with a high load bearing capacity capable of withstanding pedestrian and vehicle loads. Netlon Advanced Turf® system has the benefit of reinforcing grass surfaces with no visible structures (the mesh elements are contained in the rootzone). The mesh elements remain invisible in the rootzone interlocked with the grass roots. Netlon Advanced Turf® system is the perfect solution for 'source control' applications within a SuDS system (Sustainable Urban Drainage System).
